Cookie Policy

We use cookies or similar tools on our websites to enhance their performance during your use. This policy explains how we do this.

An HTTP cookie, commonly referred to simply as a “cookie,” is a package of information sent from a web server to an Internet browser, such as Internet Explorer, Microsoft Edge, Safari, Opera, Mozilla Firefox, Chrome, etc., and then returned by the browser each time it accesses that server. A cookie remains on your device for use in a subsequent session, although it can be deleted in the meantime. If you use more than one browser, each has a separate storage space for cookies. Cookies are not associated with an individual person but with a combination of device and Internet browser. Therefore, a person using multiple browsers and/or devices has a separate set of cookies for each device-browser combination. On the other hand, cookies do not differentiate between multiple users sharing the same device and browser, unless they have separate user profiles.

Cookies perform a variety of functions. For example, they help us remember your username or preferences and analyze how well our websites perform.

Other Tracking Devices

We may use other industry-standard technologies such as pixel tags and other internet markings (“web beacons”) to track how you use our websites and promotions, or we may allow third parties — service providers — to use these devices on our behalf. Pixel tags and other internet markings (“web beacons”) are small graphic images placed on certain parts of our websites or in our emails, allowing us to determine whether you have taken a specific action. When you access these pages or open or click on an email, the pixel tags or other internet markings (“web beacons”) send a notification (which does not contain personal data) about that action. Pixel tags help us better understand user behavior and calculate visitor traffic on our websites. We may also use pixel tags and other internet markings (“web beacons”) provided by our affiliates and/or marketing partners for the same purposes.

On 17.06.2024, “MEGATRADE EXPRESS” Ltd. signed a contract for the provision of non-repayable financial assistance No. BG-RRP-3.008-0153-C01 “Support for the transition to a circular economy” under the Economic Transformation Program of the National Recovery and Resilience Plan, co-financed by the European Union through NextGenerationEU.

General objective of the project: Accelerating the transition to a circular economy through the introduction of circular models for resource use and the implementation of climate-neutral methods and technologies for the production and consumption of the enterprise’s products. This main objective directly corresponds to the goals of the “Economic Transformation Programme” (ETP) under the “Smart Industry” component of the National Recovery and Resilience Plan (NRRP). The main objective of the project proposal fully complies with the objective of procedure BGRRP-3.008 “Support for the transition to a circular economy in enterprises.”

The planned purchase of an Automatic napkin production line – 1 unit and a Napkin production machine – 1 unit will contribute to the achievement of these objectives.

The expected effect is for the enterprise to transform its production processes by transitioning to circular models aimed at increasing resource efficiency and limiting greenhouse gas emissions. In addition, the investment under the procedure complies with the requirements of the “do no significant harm” principle to the environment, contributing to the ecological transition in the activities of enterprises.

Financing: The implementation of the project will be financed with funds under the Economic Transformation Programme of the National Recovery and Resilience Plan, co-financed by the European Union through NextGenerationEU. The total amount of the investment is BGN 1,373,970.58, of which BGN 549,588.22 represents non-repayable financial assistance (European co-financing) and BGN 824,382.36 represents own co-financing.

The expected results of the support under the project are:
Acquisition of new technologies for the introduction of the following circular models:
• Reduction of waste generation
• Limiting the use of single-use plastic products
• Use of resources of biological origin

“MEGATRADE EXPRESS” Ltd. produces a wide range of products, with the implemented investment being directly focused on the production of napkins. In the implementation of the activities under project No. BG-RRP-3.008-0153-C01 “Support for the Transition to a Circular Economy”, the company has put into regular operation a MVN 1600 napkin production machine as of 20.06.2025 and an MVNL 1600 P4 automatic napkin production line as of 02.12.2025. With the implementation of the project activities and the commissioning of the new machines, technological waste is minimized (reduced amount of waste and raw material used per unit of product due to reduced setup requirements), with increased productivity (up to 4500 pcs napkins/min). Due to the high operating speed of the new machines, replacement of raw material (tissue) containing synthetic components with raw material of 100% plant origin is achieved, reduction of the amount of PP packaging used, with increased capacity for napkin production.
With the implementation of the new Automatic napkin production line – 1 unit and Napkin production machine – 1 unit, the company transitions to more efficient and higher-quality napkin production, with a reduction of the carbon footprint of the production process and improved energy efficiency.
